Woodstock is an example of Peace & Love because it is a gathering for people to enjoy themselves and the people around them. Woodstock was an event where almost half a million people descended on a farm in upstate New York. The 1960's to people was filled with anger and confusion but all they wanted to bring to the world was peace and love. Woodstock represented Peace, Love & Music and will always be remembered.

These two websites are quotes and meanings of love to different people. I believe that love makes people feel more important and everyone should feel loved in their lives. I chose these two websites because the quotes used show how people care, and why they care as well. It is also like advice to people who are trying to find love and don't really know how to get it.

These romantic movies show and explain both peace and love. An example of one of the movies is "The Notebook". In this movie a boy and a girl fall in love and they are taken through obstacles to be with eachother in the end. The young boy is just trying to find peace with her family but they don't think he is good enough. I thought this was a really good example because it shows both peace and love, and what people will go through to experience it.

Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 has really made a difference in people's eyes. Once obama got selected for president people weren't really sure what to think of him, but he has made his point very clear across the U.S. To Obama, the vision of a world free from nuclear arms, hatred, and other complicated events has helped spread peace across the nation. Obama has really made a difference and I believe that Peace is the best thing for everyone.

This website shows when the Vietnam Peace marchers confronted the Pentagon in 1967. During this massive American Peace Movement, SANE was the peace organization with the largest membership when the war began, but was unable to fight for peace the way they believed they should. Another reason they were unable to organize effectively was because of the anticommunists around and the non-believers of peace.
