In "Peace & Love" there are many different visuals to notice and look for. Some I found were tone, shape, harmony, texture, color, and hue. I chose these because to me they seem to be the basics that make the painting beautiful and interesting. Others that I studied and noticed in the picture were field, balance, emphasis, juxtaposition, render, and narrative. These visuals show more of what the image is made of and based on, but the first six visuals are more of what the image shows and how it is presented. For example, the color of the painting is very bright and eye catching and the balance is symmetrical and each box is the same size. Both terms mean different things but they all fit together to create the painting.
The narrative in this piece is Peace and Love. This is shown by the peace signs in one lined section and the hearts in the other. The meaning to me shows how people can think about peace within others and loving one another more. This painting shows different kinds of peace and love and how they can be presented by color and overall image. I believe the focal point of this painting is the 1st series has a smaller inner heart and peace sign then as each of them go down they get bigger. This shows how peace and love can grow overtime. In conclusion I think the colors in this painting catch your eye along with the texture around it, and I think people focus on the image more because of the color and texture. Also, since they are paying more attention because they are attracted to it they look more into it to find a story and meaning like I have.
